NME Group are the principal electrical contractors for a national aged-care group, who have many villages and hospital facilities throughout New Zealand. NME were tasked with providing seven stand-by generators to enable residential care facilities to have emergency backup power.

Details: Pace Power and Air Ltd specified JCB G65QS generator sets, mounted on a purpose designed and built galvanised trailer with instant mobile capability and sufficient back-up capacity for any emergency situations NME clients may experience.
Additional features included a 125A socket outlet, 10M x 125A power lead, a Waltex trailer storage and toolbox to house accessories, and LiveLink remote monitoring system that allows the user up to date operational data via mobile phone.
Pace Power and Air Ltd was awarded the supply contract by NME Group and their client, based on generator quality and reliability, (which was paramount given the nature of the aged care sites), exemplary technical support and after sales service that includes monthly inspections, annual servicing, and Load Bank testing of the generators to keep them in top condition. PVC protective covers have recently been added to the fleet.
Since the start of the project Pace Power and Air Ltd have now provided eleven (11) trailer-mounted G65QS JCB generators to new aged care facilities, from Auckland to Dunedin.
